As a trade qualified builder and LBP with 30 years of industry experience, I take pride in my work and ensure all work is completed to a very high standard. I have completed many new build, alterations, renovations and earthquake damage repairs to residential homes and won a Registered Master Builders Association, House of the Year award for “excellence in workmanship. creativity and innovation”.

For over 12 years now, I have also provided independent expert advice to lawyers, insurers, loss adjusting companies, government and homeowners in relation to earthquake damage claims and building/construction claims and disputes in the CEIT and High Court. I am well respected and have garnered a strong reputation for quality building along with providing clear, honest, and impartial advice and reports.

As an Expert Witness, I hold a high regard for professional integrity and am not intimidated or influenced by others. As well as being a licensed building practioner, I am also a Transitional Member of NZ Institute of Building Surveyors and an Affiliate Member of NZ Institute of Quantity Surveyors thus giving me the ability to provide accurate reporting and quotes/pricing of building works.

I have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the New Zealand Building Act, Building consenting processes, The Natural Hazards Insurance Act (formally the EQC Act), private insurer policies, building damage mechanisms and repair techniques/methodologies.
