Earthquake damage re-levelling

 

Repair and re-levelling of damaged foundations of a dwelling on poor quality land. Re-levelling had been attempted by others previously but had failed. Project consisted of ground investigations to enable the selection of the most appropriate method for damage reinstatement.

For this project, our client was quoted a large sum by specialist re-levelling companies but the cost was excessive so we completed the re-levelling ourselves under the guidance of a structural engineer. The client was a "handy man" and opted to complete the cosmetic repairs himself to save cost but chose us to assist and manage the foundation re-levelling to ensue the property could be insured.
